Global Volunteers speak of their experience at the school.

The Global Volunteer organization was founded in 1984 by Bud Philbrook and his wife Michele Gran and was designed to be the foundation for peace building relationships one person at a time.   Global Volunteers is an international non profit organization with their headquarters in Minnesota United States.  Global volunteers assist worldwide community development programs, by mobilizing short term volunteers on local work projects.  Volunteers usually stay for a period of two weeks.  The assist in the areas of remedial education in numeracy and literacy, early childhood education, building projects and Earth box projects.  They also provide project funding and child sponsorship.  The program is supervised in St Lucia by a Country Manager in the person of Mrs. Chemida Popo-Cox.
